The purpose of Vevo’s School Programme is to significantly improve academic performance of all our learners by leveraging technology. We are confident that if learners take part in this  programme, their academic results will improve significantly.

We are aware of the poor educational outcomes that are currently being produced in South Africa at macro level. Only 10 to 20 percent of schools in the country achieving excellent results in gateway subjects such as Mathematics, Physics and Accounting. One study has shown that the learners at the top 3 percent of schools in South African schools achieve more 7’s/A’s in Mathematics than other 97% of schools. There is therefore a significant opportunity to improve achievement. However, the focus cannot primarily be on Grade 12’s. but the needs to be concerted effort for us to focus on the lower grades and use technology to become a catalyst for significantly improving academic results.
